A-level results day is 15 August 2019 in England and Wales and 6 August 2019 in Scotland.
Schools will be able to see A-level exam results on most examining boards’ systems by 14 August, but these are for head teachers and the exams officer only.
Collecting A-level results
Students can collect their results from their school or college in the morning, usually from 10am. Those who are unable to collect their results in person can request in advance to receive them via email (these will be available from 8am).
What if the results are not what you expected?
If you have a university place pending, you can request that the exam board completes a priority remark. If you do not have a university place pending, then you can request a copy of the marked paper or a clerical check, or a review of marking.
A-level students in England and Wales can call an exam results helpline, run by UCAS on: 0800 100 900. It is open from 15-29th August.
A-level students in Scotland can call a separate helpline, also run by UCAS on: 0808 100 8000. It is open from 6-14th August.
