BBC Bitesize Educational Programmes

BBC has offered 14 weeks of educational programmes to be used alongside current school materials.

This will involve content divided into age groups and children in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will “follow the appropriate core parts of their nation’s school curriculum”. The education plans involve:

1. BBC Bitesize Daily
   Six programmes every day, lasting 20 minutes, will air on BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button.
2. Bitesize Daily Online
   Maths, Sciences, English, history & Geography lessons every day for each year group from one to 10.
3. BBC iPlayer
   Content organised by year group and subject
4. BBC Sounds
   A daily 10-minute education podcast aimed at parents.
5. BBC Four
   Programmes supporting GCSE and A-Level curriculums.
