Scientists at the University of Nottingham have achieved a first by filming inter-molecular chemical reactions in real time at one hundred-millionth of a centimetre. The fascinating work was performed using a transmission electron microscope (TEM) in collaboration with UK, German and Russian based scientists and has established a breakthrough in the study of molecule reactions at atomistic levels and their drive to produce certain products.
