
The number of appeals, a request made by a school to review marking results, against GCSE and A-level results has fallen by a quarter last year.
However, although the number of appeals has fallen, the success of remaining appeals has increased with 3.2% of all grades challenged in 2016 leading to a grade change compared to 0.7% in 2015.
